Sell Kunststoffen asked Van Dijk 3DE to redesign the soil reinforcement of the injection mold at Nijkerk concerning strength, format, cycle time and material use.

The cooling and material use of the mold are determined using using FEM calculations! The result is a lighter tile with a shorter cycle time and improved mechanical characteristics. The tile can now even be produced continuously.
