iF Awards
The iF Design Awards form one of the largest and most prestigious design competitions for students and young designers. In 2011 there were over 8000 participants from 52 countries.

Red Dot Awards
The international "Red Dot design award" is a prestigious competition for designers. Every year awards are presented in the area of product design, communication design and design concepts.
The Red Dot is a globally recognized quality label for excellent design.
The Headgroom Pro and the Stubble and Beard Trimmer Pro from Philips were both awarded prizes. And, therefore, also Van Dijk 3DE which cooperated on both products.
The Philips Headgroom Pro
The Headgroom Pro is a so-called 'hair clipper/balder' for home use. It is a revolutionary design with a rotating trimming/shaving head, with all functions combined in a compact waterproof casing.
Philips Beard Trimmer
The Philips Beard Trimmer was developed to obtain a stubbly beard look. The length of the stubble can be selected on the dial. As chief draftsman, Van Dijk 3DE played an important role in the creation of this trimmer.
